Hello, this product has different shaving heads in pictures 5 and 6. Are they shaving heads as shown in the picture with packaging, as in picture 5? Are these shaving heads with tabs, as my old shaving head says Series 8? Many thanks for any information. I would like original shaving heads from Philips with tabs like the existing Series 8. I have no designation on the shaver as it is older. I can't find the difference between round and square blades anywhere.

I need a replacement for a Philips Shaver Series 5000 model S5898/35 I have bought some that are supposedly compatible with the Series 5000. But they are not compatible. Caution: The 'Philips Shaver Series 5000' is also listed under 'Suitable model' in the specifications. THIS IS NOT CORRECT! This product is only for the 1000 and 3000! Incorrect information leads to a bad purchase and since the packaging is already open because I only realised it when I was using it, I can take the price off my hands and throw the blades away. Thanks for nothing!

Hello, Is this product compatible with the (older) Sensotouch 3D RQ1253 shaver? The old RQ12 head has been replaced by the SH70 according to the Philips website but there is no information about the SH71.

This product is not compatible with the Sensotouch 3D RQ1253. The SH71/50 head is not suitable for SensoTouch shavers (RQ12xx) or Arcitec models (RQ10xx). The RQ12 head has been replaced by the SH70, but if the SH70 is out of stock, there is unfortunately no replacement available. The SH71 cannot be used with this older model shaver.

I read here that the SH50/50 shaving heads fit all 5000 models. I have the 5000 Series model, S5466. However, my instruction manual says to use SH30 to replace the shaving heads! Which shaving heads do I need for my 5 000/S5466 model? The SH50/60 or the SH30? Thank you for your answer.

Hello I have an SW3700 which should use SH30 replacement shaving heads. However, SH50 shaving heads also work well on this device (tried it myself). I also have an S5250 on which SH30 shaving heads work well. In my opinion, SH50 should work.

Attention, the title/product name is incorrect and misleading. These razor blades are explicitly NOT compatible with the Series 5000 (it says so on the packaging). Please note that this product is not compatible with all "Series 5000"; only "Rounded Shape". I have the "Angular shape" model and the blades do not work for this model. It is not in the description on the website, you only find out when you receive the product.

Here is the supplier's answer: The SH50/50 (https://www.galaxus.ch/fr/s6/product/philips-series-5000-scherkopf-haarentfernung-zubehoer-5675196) is compatible with the S5000 "round" and "square" products. However, if you choose our other shaving head, the SH71/50 (Philips 7000 Series, 5000 (Razor Blade, Beard Trimmer Accessory),) it is only compatible with the S5000 "square" products.
