Rheubalmin Bath
Bath preparation for heat treatment

Application recommendations:
Rheubalmin Bath is added to the running bathwater. The amount of bathwater is influenced by the size of the tub (capacity) and the body composition of the bather (water displacement).

Application method for full baths:
Use 2 ml of Rheubalmin Bath for every 10 liters of bathwater. Depending on the amount of bathwater, add 4 - 6 capfuls to the bathtub. Initial temperature should be 36°C. After entering the bath, the water temperature should be increased by 2 - 3 degrees. Total bath duration is 15 - 20 minutes. A sweating wrap is recommended after the bath.

Sweating wrap:
After the bath, wrap yourself in a sheet without drying off and sweat well covered for about 20 minutes. Then dry off thoroughly. A rest period of 30 minutes is recommended.

Sitz baths:
Add about 4 capfuls to the bathtub. Starting bath temperature is 36°C, then increase by 2 - 3 degrees. Bath duration is 15 - 20 minutes. Follow with a sweating wrap. Then dry off thoroughly and rest for about 30 minutes.

Partial baths:

• Hand and forearm baths: 5 - 10 ml (equivalent to 1 - 2 capfuls) in a container with about 10 liters of water.

• Foot and lower leg baths: 10 - 15 ml (equivalent to 2 - 3 capfuls) in a container with about 15 liters of water.

Bath temperature is 38°C. Bath duration is 10 - 15 minutes, followed by a dry-warm wrap and bed rest. Sufficient for 6 - 10 full baths, depending on the amount of water.

Warning!
The bath concentrate should not be used undiluted and should not come into contact with mucous membranes or eyes.
