SAGELLA pH 3.5 is suitable for daily intimate care and can be used multiple times a day thanks to its mild ingredients. Use the wash lotion like a shower gel in the shower, bathtub, or bidet for daily intimate care. It is intended for the external intimate area and is not suitable as a rinse.
What is pH and why is a specific pH important for intimate care?
The pH value indicates the acidity level. Values below 7.0 are acidic, while values above 7.0 are alkaline. Water has a neutral pH of 7.0. The acid mantle of our skin, which protects against pathogens, is slightly acidic with a pH of 5.5. However, the skin of the female genital area fluctuates between a pH of 3.5 and 7.0 during various life stages such as youth, puberty, pregnancy, and menopause.
