Blood pressure measurement is performed on the left upper arm. The blood pressure monitor features a WHO indicator that categorizes the readings according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO). Upon activation, the blood pressure monitor automatically inflates until the factory-set inflation pressure is reached. If this is insufficient, the device recognizes it and inflates automatically again. The subsequent measurement process is accompanied by a beep until the blood pressure values are determined, and it stops when the measurement is complete. After a successful measurement, both the systolic and diastolic blood pressure as well as the pulse are displayed simultaneously.
