The whitening Sensodyne Repair & Protect toothpaste with fluoride is suitable for protection against sensitivity to pain. Daily use is possible. Sensitivity to pain is caused by the unprotected exposure of the dentin under the enamel. Stimuli such as cold, hot, sweet or sour can irritate the dental nerve and thus cause pain. Toothpaste, on the other hand, forms a repairing protective film on the pain-sensitive areas.
