The toothbrushes are made from bio-based plastic, including the bristles, which is produced using castor oil instead of the usual fossil raw materials (petroleum). The choice of bio-based plastic was made in favor of castor oil because it grows in the Mediterranean region, unlike bio-based plastic from sugarcane, which must be imported from overseas. Castor oil is a renewable natural product derived from the seeds of the castor bean plant, Ricinus Communis. The raw material is not used as food or animal feed, and its cultivation does not compete with land used for food production.

The toothbrushes made from bio-based plastic offer sustainable dental care from renewable resources (castor oil, not petroleum). They are packaged in a cardboard box, without plastic packaging. The small brush head reaches even the most difficult areas. The spoon-shaped bristles ensure optimal tooth cleaning. The shape of the toothbrush resembles a dental instrument for precise cleaning without damaging the gums. The soft bristles have a diameter of 0.15 mm.
