Reminder function: The latest Philips shavers have an integrated reminder function in the form of a shaving unit symbol. This symbol lights up and indicates when you need to replace the shaving heads.
Easy replacement:
1. open the shaver using the release button.
2. remove the retaining rings by turning them anti-clockwise.
3. remove the old shaving heads and carefully insert the new ones, making sure that the shaving heads are precisely aligned.
4. reinsert the retaining rings and secure them by turning them clockwise.
5. when you close the shaving head properly, you will hear it click into place.
To reset your shaver: After you have replaced the shaving heads, you can reset the reminder function by pressing and holding the on/off switch for longer than 7 seconds. Otherwise, the reminder function will switch off automatically after 9 consecutive shaves.
To regain 100 % performance, you should replace the shaving heads every 2 years.
