The GEL-NYC GS (Grade School) sneaker is inspired by traditional and modern performance running styles. Its upper construction references the GEL-NIMBUS 3 shoe from the early 2000s, blending it with various embellishments from the GEL-MC PLUS V design. The tooling design was also influenced by insights from the ISS and developed with greater flexibility in the forefoot area and stability in the midfoot area to support growing children's feet. The design is inspired by ASICS archive models, combining the flowing lines and jagged edges of the 2000s and 2010s.
