The NATO strap was developed in the 1960s when the British Ministry of Defence sought a durable strap to equip the service watches of its armed forces. This military origin is also reflected in the name (North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, NATO in German). However, despite its military roots, the NATO Kelton has adapted excellently to civilian life and has even won over the wrists of numerous watch enthusiasts. It must be said that it has several advantages. First, it is extremely durable. You can use it for swimming, sports, or in the garden; it withstands everything. And when it gets dirty, just toss it in the washing machine, and it's good as new!
