Product details

Welcome to 2049, introducing Octogone, our retro-futuristic watch. The Titanium version is designed for the "bad boys" among us.

We have optimized the immense potential of this Kelton model from the late 70s by redesigning its case, now equipped with a Seagull 1632 automatic day/date movement. Its Superluminova-treated hands (hours and minutes) are now luminescent, and we have used a sapphire crystal, allowing this little automatic marvel to withstand pressures of up to 10 ATM.

The question of the future has long haunted cinema, and Octogone has been the shape of nearly every object to come. This has led to a wave of octagonal models that emerged at the end of the Space Age in the 70s, from numerous watchmakers, including Kelton, of which there are hundreds.

Where does this octagonal shape come from? Why do we keep returning to it? As M. Singh explains in his illuminating article, the success of Octogone is due to the combination of the two most common watch shapes, circle and rectangle, which results in an octagonal shape by closely following the contours of the circle.

The octogone is thus a shape born from the association of two elementary forms, embodying the idea of the future.
