The Microlight Alpine Down Jacket for women is a lightweight down jacket designed for situations where warmth, weight, and compact packing are priorities. Rab places great importance on utilizing existing raw materials and manufactures the insulation jacket entirely from recycled materials. The centerpiece is the recycled, RDS-certified down with a water-repellent Nikwax® finish, providing protection against (sweat) moisture and making it suitable for active mountain sports. The outer weather protection is ensured by the Pertex® Quantum outer material with water-repellent impregnation, which is also windproof and very durable. Slim and long-cut, with long sleeves and an extended back, the Microlight Alpine Down Jacket is recommended as both an outer layer and an intermediate layer under a weather jacket. The hood is adjustable and features a laminated brim with a flexible polymer visor. Individual adjustments are made via small pulls inside the jacket, ensuring a clean finish around the face with perfect weather protection over the eyes. The high-positioned, spacious pockets are easily accessible even when wearing a climbing harness or a closed backpack hip belt, offering surprisingly ample storage space. For transport, the down jacket can be well compressed, allowing it to fit comfortably in small backpacks.
