Test Report

Digital radios tested

There are three ways for German radio listeners to reach their destination: classic analogue via FM or digital via DAB+ or the internet. Stiftung Warentest tested 18 digital radios with prices between 40 and 280 euros, including 10 internet radios from suppliers such as Philips, Grundig and Teufel. Many of them are weak when it comes to FM reception. However, the sound of most of the radios tested was not convincing either. Only three sounded good.
