13 Portion coffee machines 08/2020

Perfect espresso and lungo at home, without any practice: this is what suppliers of pad and capsule coffee machines promise. Stiftung Warentest tested 13 machines, including systems for portioned coffee from Nespresso, Tchibo and Lavazza, offered by brand-name manufacturers such as De'Longhi, Krups and Philips. Well-brewed coffee is available for as little as 40 euros. Two capsule systems beat market leader Nespresso. Of all things, the most expensive machine is flawed (prices: 40 to 380 euros).
