Alleged first photo of the OnePlus 10 surfaced

A photo has surfaced on the Chinese short messaging service Weibo that supposedly shows the OnePlus 10 that has not yet been officially unveiled.
OnePlus already introduced the 10 Pro in January, but the "normal" version of the smartphone is still missing. Now, a first photo of the OnePlus 10 is said to have surfaced. It might be announced together with the market launch of the OnePlus 10 Pro in Europe.
No Hasselblad lettering
The photo on Weibo shows a total of three smartphones. The white and the black variant of the alleged OnePlus 10 as well as a yellow back, on which the Realme slogan "Dare to Leap" can be seen. Since the account owner who posted the photo writes that a retailer showed him the devices, it would not be surprising if devices from other manufacturers are next to it.

While the white variant of the OnePlus smartphone looks smooth and glossy, the black model looks matte and roughened. It reminds me of the Sandstone backs from OnePlus' first years. Besides the large main camera, up to three other camera lenses can be seen under the film. However, the 10 Pro only has three cameras. It would be a surprise if the OnePlus 10 had more cameras.
Some commenters suspect that it could be the OnePlus 10R. The R models are inexpensive variants that OnePlus has launched mainly in India so far. This is supported by the lack of the Hasselblad logo. OnePlus has been working with the camera manufacturer since the 9-series. Back then, its logo was emblazoned on the Pro and standard versions of the smartphone.
The manufacturer only introduced the OnePlus 10 Pro for China in January. The announcement of the sales launch in Europe could be a good occasion to introduce the OnePlus 10. Then we will also know whether it is the device from the photo on Weibo. So far, there are only rough assumptions about the date, which could be as late as May.

When I was but a young student, I'd sit in my friend's living room with all my classmates and play on his SuperNES. Since then I've had the opportunity to test out all the newest technology for you. I've done reviews at Curved, Computer Bild and Netzwelt, and have now arrived at Galaxus.de.
