Sony DualSense Wireless-Controller – Midnight Black + USB-Kabel für PC
Mac, PC, PS5

Familiar controller, new package: Sony now supplies the DualSense Midnight Black with an additional USB cable for PC and Mac.
Do you play on a PC and still prefer to use a controller rather than a mouse? Most PC gamers think of Xbox first when they think of a controller. Sony wants to change this and is now including a USB cable specifically for PC with the DualSense wireless controller in Midnight Black.
The controller itself is not a new product. It is the same DualSense that Sony has been selling for the PS5 since 2020. The Midnight Black version has been available since 2021, which has changed: The new bundle includes a USB cable that enables connection to Windows PCs and Macs.

The DualSense has two features that set it apart from the standard: haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. The vibration motors inside simulate different surfaces and resistances. The triggers can be assigned variable resistance depending on the game situation. On the PS5, many games fully support these functions. On the computer, support depends on the respective game and the developer.
The housing is made of matt black plastic. At around 280 grammes, the DualSense is slightly heavier than an Xbox controller without batteries. The button layout follows the Playstation layout with cross, circle, triangle and square.
Use the included USB-C to USB-A cable to connect the controller directly to the computer. The operating system recognises it as an input device. Alternatively, Bluetooth works. You will need a Bluetooth adapter or a device with an integrated Bluetooth chip. Steam supports the DualSense natively, including remapping and displaying Playstation icons in compatible games. Outside of Steam, support varies.
Sony specifies a battery life of around twelve hours depending on use. Charging is exclusively via USB-C. An integrated microphone and a headset socket are standard features.
