I need these paint-by-numbers pictures on my walls right now

Reckon painting by numbers is all schmaltz and tackiness? Think again! These kits will get your creative juices flowing – and give you great paintings to boot.

Scrolling through the seemingly never-ending list of paint-by-numbers pictures on Galaxus, I’m struck by one thing: there’s a whole lot of schmaltzy stuff in our range. But my first attempt at a diamond painting got me hooked, and I’m dying to wield my brushes again.

With this in mind, I kept on searching. Here are some of the golden treasures I found among the tacky stuff.

Minimalist colour palette

These artworks are definitely simpler in terms of effort, but let’s face it: sometimes less really is more. With their minimalist colour palette and abstract motifs, these pictures are perfect for a purist interior style.

Put your own spin on vintage posters

My all-time favourite motif is the Matterhorn. Based on Swiss posters from old ski resorts, this one’s been reinterpreted with a snowboarder and a digital art style. It gives the image a nostalgic yet contemporary feel.

Abstract, brightly coloured and in-your-face

Do you prefer loud, colourful interiors? If so, one of these pictures will definitely suit you. With their strong, contrasting colours, they’re real attention-grabbers. They complement maximalist interiors, but they can also inject some variety and colour into simple interiors.

Painting the walls just before handing over the flat? Making your own kimchi? Soldering a broken raclette oven? There's nothing you can't do yourself. Well, perhaps sometimes, but I'll definitely give it a try.
