Now available: Jabra Evolve 3 in three new model series
With "Evolve3 45", "Evolve3 65", and "Evolve3 65 Flex", Jabra is expanding its office series with three new model lines.
All three model series are designed for use in different environments. The «Evolve3 45» is the lighter version for everyday office life, while the «Evolve3 65» offers adaptive ANC for louder workplaces. The «Evolve3 65 Flex» is foldable and does not have a microphone boom.
«Evolve3 45»: lightweight and for long workdays
According to Jabra, the «Evolve3 45» weighs around 100 grams. You can get it as a mono version with one ear cup or as a stereo model with two ear cups. You can wear the microphone boom on the left or right. The headset detects the wearing direction and assigns the left and right audio channels accordingly.
For calls, Jabra uses three microphones and «ClearVoice» technology. It is designed to filter out ambient noise on your side so that the person you are talking to hears your voice more clearly. Additionally, the ANC reduces background noise for you.
When the microphone boom is folded up, the microphone is muted; when folded down, it is reactivated. A status light is visible from a 180-degree angle and signals to others that you are currently busy. According to the manufacturer, the battery life is up to 21 hours of talk time and 36 hours of music playback.
The «Evolve3 45» is available in 16 variants. They differ by mono or stereo, Microsoft Teams or UC versions for different communication platforms, USB-A or USB-C adapters, and an optional charging station.
«Evolve3 65»: stronger against office noise
With the «Evolve3 65», noise cancellation is more of a priority. Four microphones capture the environment for the adaptive ANC. The noise cancellation adapts to the surroundings and, according to Jabra, also works during calls.
Three microphones with «ClearVoice» are used for voice recording. A sidetone function plays a portion of your own voice back through the headset. This allows you to better gauge how loudly you are speaking. Here, too, the microphone boom can be worn on the left or right.
The battery life increases to up to 31 hours for calls and 59 hours for music playback. Furthermore, the «Evolve3 65» supports spatial sound for a more immersive reproduction of voices and other audio content.
There are also 16 variants of the «Evolve3 65». You can choose between mono and stereo, Microsoft Teams or UC, as well as USB-A and USB-C adapters. Some variants additionally include a charging station.
«Evolve3 65 Flex»: more compact for on the go
The «Evolve3 65 Flex» differs most significantly from the other two series. Jabra has omitted the microphone boom. In addition, the headset can be folded flat. According to the manufacturer, it is more compact than the «Evolve3 65».
«ClearVoice» is also used here. Jabra uses a deep learning model for this, which the manufacturer says was trained with 60 million spoken sentences. It is designed to separate your voice from background and wind noise. Four microphones handle the adaptive ANC.
For music playback, Jabra states a battery life of up to 80 hours. There are eight variants of the «Evolve3 65 Flex». They differ by Microsoft Teams or UC version, USB-A or USB-C adapter, and support for wireless charging.
