One UI 4.1: Samsung brings camera functions of the Galaxy S22 to more smartphones
With the next version of its user interface One UI, Samsung wants to bring camera features of the Galaxy S22 to more smartphones.
However, only top models from the last two years can enjoy pet recognition, night portraits or Snapchat integration. And not every feature makes it to every device. The Galaxy S21, Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 benefit the most.
Update already available in Korea
In South Korea, the update to One UI 4.1 is said to have already been released for the first devices. Samsung did not say when the update will be released in our country in the announcement.
While waiting, you can check the following list to see which camera features are coming to your Galaxy smartphone:
- Night portraits: Galaxy S21, Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, S20, Note 20, Z Fold 2, Z Flip 5G.

One UI 4.1 also brings new features to the devices beyond the camera. These include a screensharing feature for Google Duo or a keyboard that checks the grammar of what is written in cooperation with the app Grammarly. However, the latter should only be helpful if you write in English - the app does not support other languages.
