The Apple Music classical app is now also available for the iPad

Apple Music Classical is now also available in an iPad version. There are some new functions for the larger screen for all those who enjoy listening to classical music.
Listening to classical music is quite different to being bombarded by the latest pop. My iPhone is enough for the latter. If, on the other hand, I devote myself to a classical work, I'm often more interested in it.
I'm certainly not alone with this need. That's why Apple has now introduced an iPad version of the Apple Music Classical app. Around eight months after the launch of the service for classical music fans, there is now an extension that noticeably improves the user experience.
I have already tried out the new iPad app. Playing and listening to classical music is even more enjoyable, especially in landscape format. Several functions contribute to this, for example:
- When I look at a composer, I can navigate through all his works in two columns and search for them
- When playing a piece in landscape format, I can see the cover and the play function buttons in the left third. To the right, I can view metadata about the recording or the list of the next tracks.
- Even when I'm moving around in an album, I can always see and use the navigation on the left.
- The playlists I have created are now also available in the sidebar.
If you want to use Apple Music Classical, you need a plan from Apple Music. The price of this plan includes the use of Apple Music Classical at no additional cost. This gives you access to what Apple calls the "largest catalogue of classical music", much of it in the highest audio quality and some tracks even as 3D audio.
