We shoot our way through the first hour of "Doom", the new edition of the cult shooter

Over 20 years ago, the gates of hell opened and the original "Doom" sprang forth. Now the long-awaited sequel has finally been released. We loaded up the shotgun and threw ourselves into the single-player campaign.
The horror is back. "Doom", the mother of all first-person shooters, wants to know it again. The fourth instalment returns to its roots with plenty of blood, violence and hard-hitting action. Our test, which will follow in the next few days, will show whether the reboot has been a success. To give you an impression of whether the series still has what it takes, or whether the "Call of Dutys" and "Halos" have long since stolen its thunder, we play the first hour of the single-player campaign.

Only a lack of time and money prevents me from trying out every game there is and decorating my shelf with rare retro consoles.
