Unusable

The device looks nice, but that's all there is to it.
I wanted to use it as an interface between TV, record player, mobile phone and my Neumann studio speakers. The first thing I noticed was the basic noise, it is very clearly audible. Then I changed the source, which caused a loud crack in the speakers. Then I played the TV sound through the optical input. Normal room volume is not possible, because all background noises and at even lower levels everything is deleted. That's why I'm returning the device and recommend everyone NOT to buy it!
