When your old Orbi satellite dies, this is your go-to
When the satellite to my seasoned Orbi RBR50 dies suddenly, I feared it means I need to replace the whole system. Fortunately, even if the EAX15 is a generation or two newer device, it still works without a need of me messing with the system settings. Basically just plug and play. However, it required a new version of the Netgear app, and right now it looks like the old app does not see the extender and the new app does not see the base station (everything Netgear). Still, it works, so... so be it. I am thinking of getting another one to cover the house even better and keep the radiowaves flowing through our bodies at steady pace. :-)
Design-wise, the unfortunate construction of Swiss multi-outlets means this device takes all 3, but I can live with it. I guess I could leave it also just hanging by the extender cable if needed.
