Pulse relays are electromagnetically operated devices that enable simple, energy-saving, and safe lighting control. Typically, pulse relays are controlled via push buttons in situations where lighting needs to be operated from at least three different locations. With each control pulse sent to the coil-magnet system, the device switches back to its previous position and mechanically holds this state until the next control pulse. In the event of a power failure, the last switching position is mechanically maintained. This technology significantly reduces electrical losses and the power consumption of the devices. Due to their very quiet switching noises, pulse relays are also suitable for use in public buildings, hotels, and private residences. Depending on the type, the devices can be controlled with common control voltages and are designed for a rated current of 16 A or 32 A.
