ABB Stotz S&J overload relays EF45-45 are self-powered electronic overload relays that do not require an additional external power supply. They reliably protect motors in the event of an overload or phase failure. Like thermal overload relays, they are easy to use and compatible with standard motor applications. They are notable for their wide setting range, high accuracy, high operating temperature range, and the possibility of selecting from three tripping classes (10E, 20E, 30E). The overload relays are connected directly to the contactors. Single installation sets are available as accessories. Manual or automatic reset is selectable, with phase loss sensitivity according to IEC/EN 60947-4-1, temperature compensation, TEST and STOP function, tripped indication on the front, and trip and signal contact integrated (1 NO/1 NC).
