3100 series. This solution provides a significant performance boost over other entry-level adapter card solutions with an integrated 1GB DRAM cache, providing a high-performance hardware RAID solution for cost-sensitive platforms that do not require the full capabilities of our full-featured SmartRAID adapters. The SmartRAID 3101E-4i supports RAID levels: RAID 0, 1, 1 ADM, 10 and 10 ADM. With broad OS support and ecosystem compatibility, SmartRAID adapters are easy to deploy and scale. Unified maxView management tools and drivers for Adaptec HBA, RAID and expander solutions enable easy management across the product line. The SmartRAID 3101E-4i RAID adapters are ideal solutions for industrial PC workstations or entry-level servers that require connectivity to 6G SATA or SAS-3 drives for redundant boot support and I/O-intensive applications such as databases or video editing. Microsemi's industry-leading Smart Storage Stack provides maximum reliability and best-in-class performance at all RAID levels. It also offers special features such as 'mixed mode' (RAID and HBA drives can be used simultaneously), adapter power management (reduces power consumption by up to 30 percent), and innovative data management features that allow data to be migrated from existing to new RAID arrays when replacing old hard drives or depleted SSDs.
