Product details

If the new graphics card has one more 6-pin PCIe connector than the power supply can provide, an appropriate adapter is needed to connect to the PCIe plug. A well-known adapter version often included with graphics cards converts two Molex connectors to PCIe. Akasa offers something more unique with this product. Here, the power for the graphics card is drawn from two power connectors of the power supply that typically supply SATA drives. Two 15-pin SATA connectors are thus converted to a 6-pin PCIe. This is particularly practical when no Molex connectors are available.
