Self-adhesive matrix membrane keypads feature an insertable polycarbonate sheet with printed standard legends on one side. The other side can be customized with user-defined legends (written, printed, or transferred symbols), allowing for complete user-defined labeling and eliminating any keypad orientation limitations. Labeling of the 4 x 4 and 4 x 3 keypads is accomplished by inserting two of the four supplied sheets into the keypad pockets. For the 4 x 1 keypad, one of the two supplied sheets must be inserted. Alternatively, other suitable paper or polycarbonate labeling sheets can be used. Punched holes in the labeling sheet allow for the display of individual keys (via LED), and backlighting can be achieved using a translucent labeling sheet. After inserting the labels, the self-adhesive keypad can be glued to any suitable clean, flat surface. The flexible end of the keypad can be connected to PCB pin headers using a female connector. Each keypad has a top layer of black polycarbonate with silver embossing and imprinting. It comes with a double-sided silver labeling sheet with black lettering on one side and no lettering on the other side. Supplied with a data sheet. Connection cable length: 100 mm.
