The Aplic USB 3.0 to SATA III converter allows you to quickly connect any 3.5" or 2.5" SATA drive to your computer via USB 3.0 SuperSpeed data transfers. For example, you can create a backup, copy, or archive your important data to your PC. This can be particularly beneficial if you want to read data from an old internal hard drive or perform data recovery from a faulty external hard drive.

Higher speeds: With UASP in conjunction with a UASP-capable host controller, the converter offers up to 70% higher read and 40% higher write speeds compared to conventional USB 3.0. UASP uses a more efficient protocol than the standard USB BOT (Bulk-Only Transport). The actual transfer speed depends on the performance of the connected HDD/SSD. Plug and Play: Simply connect your HDD or SSD to a USB port on your PC system, with no installation required.

Note: To ensure full functionality, an additional 12V DC power supply (3.5 x 1.35 mm DC connector) must be connected to the adapter for connecting a standard 3.5” (88.9 mm) hard drive.
