The kryoM.2 micro is easily clipped onto the SSD using the included stainless steel spring clips. Before that, the included thermal pad is mounted between the SSD and the cooler. The cooling performance is sufficient for many applications, and due to its compact dimensions, the cooler is compatible with nearly all motherboard manufacturers and models.
During installation, the SSD is not mechanically stressed. The clips are attached from the side and then simply clipped over the edge of the aluminum profile. The edge of the circuit board is not touched in the process.
