As the Freezer 50 is designed for maximum performance and has a massive heat sink, it does not have unlimited RAM free space. The recommended maximum height for memory modules is 37.5 mm. This limitation is mainly due to the tip at the bottom of the Freezer 50. Taller modules may also be compatible if they have a V-shaped or centre-recessed heatsink.
The 13 A-RGB LEDs installed in the Freezer 50 can be controlled independently of each other. The Freezer 50 is compatible with the common A-RGB standards of leading motherboard manufacturers to make it as easy to use as possible. It can therefore be fully illuminated directly via the A-RGB mainboard connection or via an external controller and synchronised with the lighting of other hardware.
