The ART Tube MP/C is a microphone preamp with an integrated compressor and helpful features. The device offers two independent circuits with a tube-based analog preamp and an optical compressor circuit. It is equipped with a hand-selected 12AX7a tube, which ensures excellent sound characteristics. The Tube MP/C preamp can be used as a mic/line preamp as well as a DI box. For the XLR input, +48V phantom power can be activated if needed to operate condenser microphones. Various instruments can be connected via the 6.3 mm jack input. The level can be adjusted using the +20dB gain button if necessary. The LED display provides information about tube drive, gain reduction, and output level. The compressor can be adjusted using the speed and slope buttons, as well as the threshold control - the OPTO-COMP button allows it to be disabled or bypassed. The power supply is provided via the included power adapter.
