The BC-12D2HT from ASUS is a combi-drive that burns and reads DVDs and CDs. The combi unit writes DVDs at 16x speed and CDs at 48x speed. The multifunctional drive can read 16 times faster on DVDs, 48 times faster on CDs and 12 times faster on Blu-Ray.
