The KE6940AiT are powerful IP-based transmitters that, when used with receivers (e.g., KE6940AR), enable console access from a separate location. The setup allows for extended remote access to computer systems via USB consoles (USB keyboard, USB mouse, DVI monitor) over the intranet and internet, enabling users to place the computer system in secure and temperature-controlled environments that may be isolated from the user's workplace.

KE6940AiT supports the new Control Center Video Session Recorder (CCVSR) software. The CCVSR records all operations on servers accessed via KVM over IP switches. Every operation and change – from BIOS-level startup processes to system-level, logins and logouts, running software applications for operating system configuration – are recorded and stored in a secure video file for security reference and troubleshooting purposes.

The KE6940AiT DVI-I Dual-Display KVM over IP Extender supports two DVI displays at each end and enables lossless video transmissions with low latency up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz.
