The setup allows for extended access to computer systems via a USB console (USB keyboard, USB mouse, DisplayPort monitor) over the intranet, enabling users to place computers in secure and temperature-controlled environments that may be isolated from the user workstation. As an IP-based matrix extender, the KX9970T can be installed in flexible configurations, including point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, multipoint-to-point, and multipoint-to-multipoint.
