Conferences are conducted seamlessly thanks to the high bandwidth speed of 5 Gbps and backward compatibility with USB 2.0/1.1 devices, ensuring fast data transfer. Additionally, the US3384i features versatile port selection methods, including the push button on the front, serial RS-232/RS-485 commands, and the external remote port selector, making operation even more flexible. The US3384i supports a "Power-on detection" feature that automatically switches the PC focus to the last connected or powered-on host device. Furthermore, the preferred port setting is configurable, allowing the focus to switch to a secondary USB host if the primary one is lost.
