The VGA-EDID Emulator 2A-130G is designed for installations with Aten KVM extenders or graphic splitters where no local monitor is present at the location of the computer or signal source. The 2A-130G emulates and stores the standard EDID settings (Extended Display Identification Information) from Aten in non-volatile memory. This allows the computer or signal source to "see" a display even though none is connected. The 2A-130G is suitable for all installations with Aten KVM or graphic extenders where a local monitor is not required, providing a simple and cost-effective solution to avoid boot issues caused by the absence of a display.
