The VM8584 is designed with fiber optic technology for long-distance transmission and extends the uncompressed 4K signal via duplex fiber optic cables up to 300 m (with VM8584K1) or 10 km (with VM8584K2) along with its SFP+ module. The fiber optic simplifies cabling by ensuring interference-free long-distance transmission of audio, video, IR, and RS-232 control signals over a single set of duplex cables that can be easily connected to the SFP+ slot. Additionally, the VM8584 supports a high data rate of 10.2 Gbps and meets HDMI specifications including 3D, Deep Color, and 4K to ensure excellent video quality.
