The passive aluminum cooler AXAGON CLR-M2 ALU is ideally suited for cooling high-performance M.2 SSD drives, especially NVMe. The universal heatsink can be used on M.2 cards with a size of 22 x 80 mm. The included thermal pads allow for the installation of a cooler for both single-sided and double-sided M.2 SSDs.

With a total height of 12 mm and a passive height of 8 mm, the cooler can also be used in slots that are occupied by the graphics card. The ribbing of the aluminum passive and the metal frame optimize the heat dissipation of the M.2 SSD drive, reducing the drive temperature by up to 25 °C. This extends the lifespan of the SSD and prevents the slowdown of drive speed, known as "thermal throttling."

Thanks to its easy installation and compact dimensions, the heatsink can be used not only with AXAGON M.2 adapters but also with M.2 (NGFF) slots on motherboards. The metal frame dissipates heat from both sides of the M.2 drive, achieving maximum cooling efficiency.
