The AXIS P7316 is a fully equipped, cost-effective video encoder with 16 channels that extends the benefits of IP surveillance to all types of analog camera systems. It supports analog standard cameras and HD cameras with resolutions of up to 4K, as well as PTZ control via RS485. This rack-mounted encoder supports bidirectional audio and intelligent analytics features such as motion detection and active tampering alarm. Thanks to the SFP slot, fiber optic connections over long distances and network redundancy are possible. The AXIS P7316 also features Zipstream with support for H.264/H.265 to significantly reduce bandwidth and storage requirements. Additionally, it includes built-in security features such as signed firmware and secure system boot.
