The special design of the H2D hotend heating unit allows for easy separation of the thermal and electronic components of the hotend. Simply unlock the closure to quickly and easily remove and install the hotend. Filaments containing carbon fiber, fiberglass, metal, or other inorganic particles tend to clog a 0.2 mm nozzle. For filaments with carbon fiber or fiberglass, it is highly recommended to use a 0.6 mm hardened steel nozzle to minimize the risk of clogging and wear. Bambu PLA-CF and Bambu PETG-CF have been extensively tested and show a low risk of clogging when printed with a 0.4 mm hardened steel nozzle, while achieving higher print quality.
