B+W Basic 040 Orange Filter MRC This is a strong B+W 040 orange filter that significantly darkens violet and blue, strongly darkens green, and even slightly darkens yellow-green. Landscape and architectural shots exhibit an increased, almost "graphic" contrast, while cloudy skies can appear dramatically. Since skin tones related to the filter color are greatly brightened against plant green, this filter is often used in outdoor nude photography to enhance the contrast between the lighter body and the darker landscape.
