The defining feature of the current GLE 456.2 Center speaker is the new aluminum-manganese high-frequency system. A combination of an elaborate waveguide, new diaphragm material, and an adapted crossover now enables a frequency response from 30 to 40,000 Hz. This is a range that has not been available in our GLE series before. It features a closed 2½-way design with an aluminum woofer and an aluminum midrange driver. Equipped with sturdy polycarbonate baskets, a powerful magnetic drive, and the latest generation of wave surround technology. Maximum power handling: 140 watts.

With dimensions of 45.5 x 17 x 31 cm, the new GLE Center weighs 8.6 kg. The cabinet surface is available in black vinyl decor with a matte black lacquered front baffle and white vinyl decor with a matte white lacquered front baffle. The black, acoustically neutral fabric cover can be removed if needed. Compatible speaker stand: LS 660.
