The 12.7 cm CSL Notebook mounting frame for 2.5" (6.69 cm) HDD/SSD allows you to install a second hard drive in your notebook. The mounting frame can be easily installed in the drive bay of your optical notebook drive. It is universally compatible with all 2.5" HDDs and SSDs with a SATA interface. The connection within the notebook is also made via the SATA interface, which you simply need to plug the mounting frame into.
With its standardized dimensions (12.7 cm width) and matching black bezel, the mounting frame integrates perfectly into your notebook casing. Since most installation media are now available online and modern USB storage devices have a larger capacity than CDs or DVDs, optical drives are becoming increasingly rare.
