The Bluetooth reader enables interaction with your smart mobile phone. The reader can receive information via Bluetooth when your phone is nearby. There is no need to pair the reader with your mobile phone. All you need to do is press the unlock button on your phone's screen or shake your phone. The name of the app is Easy4key; select access control and scan the QR code from SmartPSS, then the app will add your access card data. After this step, your phone will function as your access card.

What is OSDP?
The Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) is a communication standard for access control developed by the Security Industry Association (SIA) to improve interoperability between access control and security products. OSDP v2.1.5 is used in the current firmware version; it is a standard recognized by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), and OSDP is continuously being developed to maintain its leading position in the industry.

Why use OSDP?
Already widely adopted by many manufacturers, the Security Industry Association promotes the broad acceptance of this standard and recommends specifying OSDP for all access control installations that require true security or are deployed in government and other high-security environments.
