The barcode scanner "Magellan™ 3200VSi" now brings Datalogic's new imaging technology to retail (Point-of-Sale) environments with high item throughput. It is the first barcode scanner to operate at double the speed and with double the reading range of high-performance, omnidirectional laser scanners while also leveraging the advantages of imaging. Its imaging technology delivers outstanding results in capturing difficult-to-read barcodes, such as truncated (short), non-standard, or poorly printed codes, as well as GS1 DataBar™ codes, and supports the decoding of linear (1D) and 2D labels. The image capture capability of the "Magellan 3200VSi" allows for both scanning and presentation modes, ensuring maximum productivity and ergonomic operation.

Unique features include a micro-SD card reader to assist with software management, updates, and maintenance. Software management with the "Magellan 3200VSi" is highly flexible, offering multiple methods to load new software or modify existing configuration files and application firmware.
