The converter can be connected to two free USB ports on your PC or notebook, with the USB 2.0 line providing an additional 5 V if needed. The USB 3.0 connector of the converter can be plugged into a USB 3.0 port to achieve a fast data transfer rate of up to 5 Gb/s (SuperSpeed). Additionally, the USB 3.0 Type-A connector is compatible with its predecessors USB 2.0 and USB 1.1, allowing you to connect the converter to a USB 2.0 or USB 1.1 port as well.
