This converter from Delock allows the connection of 2.5" or 3.5" IDE and SATA drives to the USB port of a PC or laptop. This means that the drive can be connected directly to a USB port without an external enclosure. The included power supply provides power to the converter and the connected drives. The backup function enables backing up from the PC or laptop to a connected hard drive or SSD.
