The HDMI Fiber KVM Extender Set enables high-resolution AV signal transmission in 4K/60Hz (3840x2160p) over long distances using fiber optic cables. It supports both single-mode (SM) and multi-mode (MM) cables. In a point-to-point connection, signals can be transmitted losslessly over distances of up to 40 km (single-mode) or 300 m (multi-mode). Additionally, the device allows for a point-to-multipoint connection with the capability to distribute signals to up to 253 receivers (displays). Thanks to support for 1G network switches and the use of existing 1G infrastructure, signal transmission over unlimited distances is possible through cascading, allowing for flexible system expansion. For projects with multiple displays, the extender set can be expanded with additional receivers (RX), which are available separately. The system is compatible with LC and SC SFP modules, with the appropriate SFP modules sold separately. The ability to use both single-mode and multi-mode fiber optic cables ensures high flexibility for various applications. Another outstanding feature of the extender is the KVM function on the receiver side, allowing for the connection of a mouse and keyboard to directly control the signal source. Additionally, a 3.5 mm stereo jack is available for separate audio output to ensure optimal sound transmission.
