This internal data cable is suitable for connecting Serial ATA hard drives as well as CD, DVD, and Blu-ray burners or drives to the motherboard and is backward compatible with SATA Rev. II/I. Due to the 90° left-angled connector, the cable runs from the horizontally mounted hard drive upwards.
