The Diamondback Science Team has been developing top-tier diamond products for the energy industry for over 40 years. Recently, they have created a proprietary polycrystalline diamond (PCD) nozzle for 3D printing that can handle the most challenging applications. This nozzle is easier to clean, reduces clogging, improves layer adhesion, features a massive diamond tip, works with any filament, has a longer lifespan, lowers operating temperature, and offers unparalleled wear resistance.

E3D's precision nozzles utilize a massive diamond tip to enhance precision in 3D printing. The tip is not a diamond coating but a solid diamond substrate made of polycrystalline diamond. Diamond is the hardest material in the world and provides excellent thermal conductivity, ensuring efficient heat transfer from the hotend through the nozzle into the filament. This results in more precise prints and better layer adhesion for every print.

The Diamondback nozzle employs proprietary and patented diamond technology that allows 3D printers to use any filament with the same nozzle. It can easily print standard PLA and ABS filaments, as well as highly abrasive, carbon fiber-reinforced filaments, without needing to change the nozzle. It also supports 3D printing with PLA-Copper, Iron, and Carbon Fiber.

The polycrystalline diamond (PCD) used in each DiamondBack nozzle significantly extends overall lifespan. The extreme hardness, wear resistance, and thermal conductivity of this unique material make it ideal for 3D printing.
